If letters become numbers and black turns into white, then OUER, who combine the spirit of Detroit Techno and Chicago House with the love of band-inspired jam sessions, invite their friends to reinterpret their music.
For the first remix instalment, the two guys from Berlin bring a bunch of amazing newcomer talent as well as experienced and long time idols, who give the tracks from their EPs A and B a new touch.
On the A-side, Roberto Rodriguez (Serenades, Freerange) takes his hands on 'Aleph' and turns the track into a deep and melodic evolving groover, while Panthera Krause (Lobster Theremin, Uncanny Valley) creates a stomping banger out of 'Vertical' which leaves you with a big smile.
On the B-side, Perfect Straight makes his mark on 'Onset' and gives the track a new vest with his trademark mpc based beats and groovy bass lines, while italian duo Minimal Afrika (Get Wet Music) turns 'Supra' into a dark and exotic tune. Berlins best kept secret, Thommyy RA, rounds up the EP with his deep lo-fi trip, which sends the listener on a deep journey through the pacific ocean.
